Why I built Homi

There is something that always caught my attention while I worked in appliance repair.

We technicians are experts at solving problems for our customers, but too often we end up fighting our own processes: messy schedules, information scattered across calls, messages and notebooks, and too many administrative tasks that pull us away from the work that actually brings in income.

For years I thought there had to be a better way to work.

That is why I built Homi.

Not to make just another app, but to build a tool that truly understood how this trade works.

Your jobs and invoices stay private

Homi separates each company’s operation. Customers, jobs, photos, and documents are kept for your business, using Firebase/Google Cloud infrastructure and no data selling.

Each business operates in its own space. Other users cannot see your customers, jobs, or invoices.

The app uses Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, storage, and sync.

Closed beta on Google Play

Homi for Android is now in beta

Create your free account on the web and use the same data on Android. Native installation is provided only through the Google Play closed test.

Homi does not provide direct APK downloads on the web. Once you receive a tester invitation, install the app only through Google Play.

How to join the Android beta

  1. Create your free Homi account or sign in.
  2. Accept the closed-test invitation with the same Google Play email.
  3. Install Homi from Google Play and sign in with your existing account.

Using iPhone?

The iPhone version is in preparation. While we build the right iOS experience, you can keep using Homi from Safari as a web app.

How much does Homi cost?

Nothing today: during launch Homi is free with full access, no credit card, and no plan selection. Before activating any billing we will give at least 60 days of notice.

Do I need to download an app to start?

No. You can create your account and use Homi on the web. The Android app is available to participants in the Google Play closed test.

Is the Android installation safe?

The Android beta is distributed only through Google Play. Homi does not provide APK files for installation from external websites.

Can I use Homi on iPhone?

Yes, you can use Homi from Safari as a web app while we prepare a native iPhone experience.

Does it work in Spanish?

Yes. HomiApp was built from the ground up to be bilingual. The entire app — scheduling, invoices, notifications, admin panel — works in Spanish and English. Switch languages in one tap.

Can I add my logo to invoices?

Yes. Every invoice and quote includes your company logo, business name, and contact info. Your clients get a professional document with your brand.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. You can check schedules, clients, and jobs without signal. Changes sync when you reconnect.
